I recently came across Shodogg - they are targetting a very real problem that is painful for technology vendors; the diversification of platforms that you need to be able to present on. The number of devices, their differing physical shapes and the number of OS/browser/player combinations is really spinning out of control and making innovation more difficult.
Doubtless this will be a short term problem; it feels like there is an explosion of choice that will be followed by some agreement or understanding on standards.
Maybe Shodogg will be part of the solution.
Also, Gregg Spiridellis of JibJab involved - a great guy to have on board; very smart and he'd know about presenting over multiple platforms.
In addition to Seth Green, investors in Shodogg include William G. McGorry, the Chairman of the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame; Gregg Spiridellis, the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officedr at JibJab Media; and Jonathon Carson, the Chief Revenue Officer at Vevo.
